Ramadan Reflections #6: There Is Only One
π Ramadan Reflections is a series of short essays where reading turns into practice, and ideas get tested against the heart.
This Ramadan, through the words of Allah (swt) in the Qurβan, something becomes clear.
Not complicated.
Clear.
There is one Creator β Allah (swt).
There is one human family β the children of Adam and Hawwa (as).
There is one true measure of honor β taqwa.
There is only one real βnationβ β this world.
All other borders are political walls, often raised by ego, fear, and the whispers of Shaytan.
There is only one language the heart always understands β respect, mercy, and love.
There is only one life standard β justice.
There is only one true wealth β being content with Allah and living in righteousness.
There is only one ultimate return β back to Allah.
There is only one message brought by all Prophets (as):
Worship Allah alone with sincerity, and seek His pleasure.
And there is only one religion accepted by Allah (swt): Islam β submission to Him.
Everything else that contradicts this understanding is constructed by the human ego, often assisted by Iblis.
Ramadan strips things down
It removes distraction.
It exposes illusion.
It simplifies what we have complicated.
We argue about race, nation, status, ideology.
But hunger feels the same in every body.
Tears fall the same from every eye.
Death comes the same to every soul.
Ramadan reminds us:
We are one creation.
We have one Lord.
We are walking toward one meeting.
The rest is noise.
